Bahia of Jiquilisco/Puerto Barrillas Marina Club
Puerto Barillas Marina Club. The Bay of Jiquilisco, the largest mangrove forest in El Salvador 1 hour away. Jiquilisco Bay is home to over 17 species that live in the forest of mangrove full of natural resources. The Club facilities include a port, big game fishing boats, a small airport, a restaurant, a bar, and a convenience store. We offer 2 types of tours at Puerto Barillas by boat or kayak.
Both tours include lunch the following: coconut water welcome lunch and a drink (domestic beer, bottled water, coconut water, or soda). Enjoy the facilities. The boat tour lasts two hours. We make the trip over the main channel of Jiquilisco Bay where you can appreciate the natural beauty of the bay, which includes the diversity of mangroves and a panoramic view of mountains and volcanoes. Following, we come to Isla Pajarito where we can enjoy the beautiful beach with a relaxing view of the tranquil sea. You will also have the opportunity to see migratory birds!

Town of Alegria
Alegria is one of the most picturesque villages in El Salvador and is famous for its diversity of bright flowers. There is an impressive crater lake nearby; its waters are said to be medicinal. Located at approximately 1,200 meters above sea level, the municipality's cool climate lends itself to many thriving local plant nurseries, some of which specialize in tropical flowers such as birds of paradise, anthuriums, orchids, and varieties of bromeliads. The town is famous for its volcanic lake, the Alegría Laguna, which is a national protected area managed by the NGO ADESCAM. The friendly tourist agency has a municipal office and a booth on the Parque Central. It also offers some worthy guided hikes (US$10 to US$15 per half-day) to coffee plantations, geothermal plants, and sites related to philosopher and native Alegrían, Alberto Masferrer.

San Miguel City & Shopping Tour
